He has performed with Hamiet Bluiett, Louie Bellson, Lew Soloff, Benny Golson and Curtis Fuller and received his Masters from NIU where he studied with jazz notables Fareed Haque, Willie Pickens and jazz educator Ron Carter.

Jazz studies at North Texas State has lead to appearances at major jazz festivals in the US and abroad and tours with jazz great, Greg Osby, who will be featured on her second CD release.
